Chief Lelooska是北美土著艺术家,主要制作传统北美土著的木面具。他身边的木制工艺品都出自他之手。我是偶而间看到他制作的面具,就迷上了它们的线条和色彩。我最喜欢他做的鹰和狼,简直太迷人了。照片中,Lelooska的高傲已经深深地融在他身后面具中。上面这只大鸟神气吧?是鹰。

Chief Lelooska作为艺术家的同时也是位土著神话故事的讲述者,成千上万的孩子都知道他的名字。他出版了很多关于印第安传说的书,有的配有CD。

我小时候就没这么好的福气看到这么生动的作品,都是人斗人,把个地主婆当什么大事。现在大家一起补课,欣赏一下Chief Lelooska讲古老的传说和他的绘画:“很久,很久以前……”补充一下,人家说的是洋文。

knight(游客)有本印第安黑白人物册,很老版的外文书,以前的印第安人肖像,很喜欢。还有本印第安神话,可惜插图粗糙了些

这其实是个旧帖,因为最初的链接失效我就删除了。这两天重新整理上传图片后再出来。我超级喜欢印第安的艺术,尤其是印第安的首饰。
